Zonta is an international organisation with many sub-departments in each country where passionate like-minded people work together to empower women. Founded in 1919 Zonta International, now in 63 countries with more than 30.000 members, have dedicated the last century to bring together women in executive positions and help them reach their rightful places both in and outside of Zonta.
For the 'Zonta Walk Haarlem' event I designed the booklets that will be used by the participants on the walk to find their way. The 3KM walk through the most pitoresque streets of Haarlem is highlighted by 18 different creative acts along the way (art, music, theatre, poetry etc.) and ends on the famous square where all the floats for the Flower event have been stalled.
All the profits from the ticket sales are gifted to the charity Netwerkpro to aid their quest to 'Help all women from Haarlem to an independant future'!
The colours yellow, green and the dark burned red where a staple for the recognizable branding of Zonta and the Zonta 100 Years campaign. An artist had created the yellow tulip illustration visualizing the connection with the Flower Parade. These two elements were my guidelines in creating an easy to read in evening light and recognizable for the company with a spring feeling.
